# Water Sterilization

ನೀರು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಣ: ಜಲಾವೃತವಾದ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಜಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಟಲಿ ನೀರು ಅಥವಾ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಕೊರತೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಈ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಬಹುದು: ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರೆಷರ್ ಕುಕ್ಕರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸುಮಾರು ೧೫ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ (೧೦-೧೫ ಸಲ ಕುಕ್ಕರ್ ಕೂಗುವವರೆಗೆ) ಅದನ್ನು ಒಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಬಿಸಿ ಮಾಡಿ. ಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಒಂದೆರಡು ಚಮಚದಷ್ಟು ಜೀರಿಗೆ ಯನ್ನು ಆ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆರೆಸಬಹುದು. ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯಾವುದೇ ನೀರನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಬಹುದು\

Most flooded areas are cut off from bottled/ safe water supplies. Here's what you can do to sterilise ANY water.

**Fill up your preassure cooker with water. Pressure cook for 10 to 15 whistles (15 mins) at high heat. Filter and use. You can add a few spoons of cumin if you like.**

ANY water becomes safe to drink if sterilized this way.
